There will be a reduction of 16 Area Support Manager roles (8 SASMs and 8 ASMs). SASMs s will be considered for either a Senior Area Support Manager or Senior Manager of a Pool role. ASMs will be considered for one of the 20 ASM roles or a grade E Branch Manager role.
There are no planned reductions in the number of Area Quality Manager roles. Each Area Director Group will have a dedicated AQM reporting directly to the Area Director and other existing quality managers will be aligned to a new National Quality Manager role within the Managing Director Office Quality Team. These colleagues will not go through a selection process and will be placed in available roles.
There are currently 333 Pools across the three brands reducing to 229.
