Young people entering the world of work today face a multitude of challenges such as job insecurity, low pay, and exploitation. Knowing your rights at work is essential in order to begin to tackle some of these challenges.
Join The Equality Trust for the launch of our ‘Your Time, Your Pay’ report which explores young people’s experiences of the labour market and reveals the extent of wage exploitation young people are currently being subjected to. Our report includes a list of key recommendations for government and trade unions to consider.
The event will provide an opportunity to discuss and reflect upon the findings of the report as well as hearing from some of the young people who co-produced the report.
Full speaker line-up will be announced soon.

The lines between home and work can often blur, and juggling the two can be exhausting. So how can balance be restored? And how can workplaces support? This webinar from the Bank Workers Charity explores the wellbeing issues affecting parents across different life phases and looks at the support that’s available to help boost resilience. This is a free webinar and open to anyone.
We've teamed up with the Bank Workers Charity for a wellbeing webinar to explore why providing cancer support is important in a work context. We'll look at the steps some organisations have taken to support staff with a diagnosis, and we look at how line managers and colleagues can be supportive. This is a free webinar, open to all members.
Accord has over 350 trained workplace representatives across the country who are there to help when things aren't going so well. Reps are the beating heart of the union, and often the first port of call offering advice, guidance, information, and representation.
No other union in either LBG or TSB can match this network of support.
