Sharon Doherty (she/her)
Lloyds Banking Group – Chief People & Places Officer
Sharon Doherty is Lloyds Banking Group’s Chief People and Places Officer. She joined the team in June 2022, with the aim of helping our 60,000 plus people play their part in Helping Britain Prosper.
Sharon is committed to creating a culture that attracts and inspires the most diverse, agile and committed talent to thrive and grow, as we undertake one of the largest transformations in UK Financial Services in the last decade.
Before joining Lloyds Banking Group Sharon was Chief People and Places Officer at Finastra – a leading global fintech. Prior to this she was Vodafone’s Global HR Director, Technology where she drove their award-winning diversity and digital work programme.
Sharon’s career also spans people and leadership roles at Laing O’Rourke, BAA Heathrow’s Terminal 5, GE Capital, PwC, Kingfisher and Marks and Spencer.
In March 2022, Sharon was appointed NED at Allwyn UK, operators of the National Lottery, and is also Chair of the RemCo and NomCo.
Sharon is a mother, author and champion of democracy, diversity, equity and inclusion across the world
Paul Nowak
TUC – General Secretary
Paul has been an active trade unionist and campaigner throughout his working life.
He first became a union member when he worked part-time at Asda aged 17 and was a union activist in both the public and private sector before joining the TUC in 2000.
Paul has held numerous roles at the TUC including regional secretary for the north of England, head of organisation and deputy general secretary.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Paul led union efforts to improve the government’s safe working guidance with significant success, ensuring millions of workers had a safer environment to work in. He supported Frances O’Grady in securing furlough, and led efforts to secure support for the cultural industries, aviation and transport.
He was elected general secretary of the TUC in November 2022, taking up post in January 2023.
Paul is married to Vicky. They have three grown-up children and live on the Wirral in Merseyside

Roz Foyer
STUC – General secretary
Roz Foyer has been General Secretary of the STUC (Scottish Trades Union Congress), representing over half a million Scottish Trade Union members since March 2020 and is the first woman to hold this leadership role at a key time for trade unions and working people in Scotland.
Since taking on the General Secretary role at the STUC, Roz has been active in building the STUC's campaigning profile, pressurising both Scottish and UK governments to build an economy that works for working class people and demanding more radical solutions to the cost-of-living crisis.
As part of her role, Roz serves on a number of Scottish Government key advisory groups and is a regular commentator across a range of print and broadcast media.
Robin Bulloch
TSB – Chief Executive
Robin was appointed TSB's Chief Executive in April 2022.
He joined TSB in 2019, and as Chief Customer Officer was at the heart of transforming the TSB customer experience. He has driven the bank’s customer proposition and distribution strategies as well as developing the bank’s support for business customers. In 2020, he led the TSB brand relaunch.
Robin has broad industry expertise across consumer banking, business banking and insurance with a strong reputation for delivering business and cultural transformation in a banking career that spans over four decades.
Before joining TSB, Robin was Managing Director for Community Banking at Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland prior to which he led Lloyds Banking Group’s general insurance division. Prior to this he worked for RBS Group (now NatWest Group), holding senior roles including Managing Director at RBS and NatWest Branch Banking and Chief Executive of Tesco Personal Finance (now Tesco Bank).
Robin sits on the Board of UK Finance. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Banker Institute, having previously served on their Board and the Board of Scottish Financial Enterprise.
