It's election time: Your Principal Executive Council & President

In accordance with Accord’s rules, elections will be held for the role of Accord President and the 17 members of the Principal Executive Council (PEC) early next year.

Candidates are welcome from TSB, Schroders Personal Wealth, Sainsbury’s Bank, Communisis, Diligenta and all parts of Lloyds Banking Group - including MBNA and Scottish Widows.

Accord would like the PEC to be an inclusive and diverse body and particularly welcomes candidates from diverse ethnic backgrounds and other under-represented groups.

In accordance with trade union laws, Mi-Voice (of Epsilon House, Enterprise Road, Southampton Science Park, Southampton, S016 7NS) has been appointed as the Independent Scrutineer of the election.

How to vote

Candidates who wish to stand in the election are required to self-nominate before 5pm on Friday 17 December 2021 and can do so on the following website: 

www.mi-nomination.com/accord

Self-nominated candidates will need to submit a CV and an election address (on forms provided by the union) by 5pm on Friday 21 January 2022 and secure the support of the required number of members as set out in the regulations by the same date.

The elections will be held between 21 February – 18 March 2022.

The successful candidates will take office from the end of the 2022 biennial delegate conference which will take place in April next year. Their period of office will run until the end of the biennial delegate conference in 2024.
