Programme highlights

After being a hit with delegates at Accord’s conference in 2018, we invited David Meade to Manchester to deliver something a bit different and special - the Give a Hand programme.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room whilst David introduced the session.

Our delegates worked together to build nearly 60 real, clinical, prosthetic hands that will be sent to individuals across third world countries and transform their lives.

The exercise involved clear communication, the ability to overcome challenges, collaboration and problem-solving - all while building a life-changing prosthetic device.

The built hands last from seven to eleven years and allow patients to feed, clothe and wash themselves. The impact is unimaginable.

Delegates were blown away by what was a hugely challenging, unforgettable and rewarding team building experience.

What our reps said...

One of the best things I've done in a long time! Really rewarding.

A session with a twist! David was a stimulating and thought provoking speaker. I’m very proud of the fact we worked as teams to create something tangibly useful.

Easily the best ‘team building’ type thing ever. Joined us together, felt really special.
