Burnout has become a growing problem for employees and businesses and the pandemic didn't help. One study suggested 52% of employees reported feeling burnt-out in May 2021. Worryingly, since the pandemic ended, levels of burnout haven't reduced.
Described by the World Health Organisation as a condition “resulting from workplace stress that hasn’t been successfully managed”, burnout has severe consequences, usually resulting in exhaustion and complete disaffection with work. But importantly, it is avoidable.
We've teamed up with the Bank Workers Charity to look at who burnout affects and how, and identifies some steps we can take to minimise the risk that we become affected by it.
This is a free webinar and open to all members.

Find out more & watch the recordingSandwich generation carers are people who have caring responsibilities at both ends of the age spectrum. They’re still looking after their children but also look after an elderly relative, usually a parent. There are estimated to be 2.4 million sandwich generations carers in the UK and at times their lives can feel very stretched by these responsibilities, especially if they're also holding down a busy job.
We teamed up with the Bank Workers Charity to explore different aspects of the lives of sandwich generation carers and review steps psychologists have identified to help avoid the multiple demands taking a toll on health and wellbeing
