Webinars are a great way of sharing information & upskilling, whether you're a member or a rep. Below you'll find two webinars you may have missed, and we think are worth catching up on.

With our recordings, you can watch the replays of our webinars at a time and in a place that's convenient for you.

On this page you can rewatch the following webinars - or visit the webinar section on our website for more.

The truth about addiction

As our understanding of addiction grows, encompassing substances like alcohol and drugs, as well as behavioural addictions such as internet use or workaholism, our focus extends to the numerous expressions of addictive behaviours.

Recent statistics highlight the pervasive and global nature of addiction, underscoring the pressing need for greater awareness and support.

We've teamed up with the Bank Workers Charity to look at the effects of addiction in the workplace, the impacts on professional environments and individuals' overall wellbeing. This session aims not only to impart valuable insights into the prevalence of addiction but also to present strategies that nurture a more open and supportive workplace environment.

The line manager: A key to employee wellbeing

New research suggests that for nearly 70% of us, our manager has more impact on our mental health than our doctor or a therapist – equal in fact to our partner. As businesses prioritise employee wellbeing more than ever, we explore the ways, good and bad, that managers affect the wellbeing of their teams.

We've teamed up with the Bank Workers Charity to identify managerial behaviours that are most strongly associated with high levels of productivity as well as of wellbeing and we will show how managers are the most important factor in creating a wellbeing culture.
