Free subscription eligibility
If you’re an Accord member and you’re about to take maternity, adoption or shared parental leave – make sure you let us know as soon as possible. You may be entitled to a subscription free period of up to 12 months. What’s more, you’ll still be able to use our services and member benefits whilst you’re on leave.
But first, have a read of the rules below to make sure you’re eligible…
- The offer is open to members who have paid their subscriptions up to date and have been a member of Accord for at least 12 months.
- If you have been a member for less than 12 months, your free subscriptions will commence on the 1-year anniversary of your membership and end when you return to work.
- Applications should be sent to Accord before the period of leave starts. If an application is received after the period of leave starts, no retrospective refunds will be due, but will apply to the remainder of the period of leave.
How to apply
To apply, we ask you to complete our online form. Along with your personal details, you'll need to provide us with some evidence such as a MatB1 form, adoption certificate, or other relevant formal documentation.

- Full name
- Membership or Employee ID No.
- Date of return to work
