The revised contracts will make notice periods consistent, clarify the position in relation to ‘restrictive covenants’ (what you can and can’t do if you leave SPW) and introduce an employer led commitment to hybrid working (depending on role).

The Community Bank plans to extend the proof of concept currently underway in some branches by increasing the number of colleagues taking customer calls. Colleagues involved in the expansion will be asked to work from home, with the current 18 branches in the experiment continuing to take calls in branch.
