Line managers are invited to join Accord and the Bank Workers Charity for a wellbeing webinar to explore how people are affected by the menopause at work, the different approaches to offering support and how to create a menopause-friendly environment within the team. This webinar is aimed at line managers.
We’re in the middle of a menopause revolution.
Affecting an estimated 13 million people in the UK, the menopause was for too long a taboo subject but in recent years it has been recognised as a key wellbeing issue. Now the topic of many high profile and national conversations, it is increasingly being seen as a workplace wellbeing priority, with many employers introducing support measures for affected employees.
Despite this progress, however, there remains a general lack of knowledge about the day-to-day impact of the menopause at work. All too often, line managers feel unequipped to support employees or feel uncomfortable engaging in conversations around the issue.
This webinar looks at how people are affected by the menopause at work, the different approaches to offering support and how to create a menopause-friendly environment within the team.
This session includes a live Q&A.
