Event details
The days are shorter, temperatures colder and our living expenses higher — no wonder winter can take a toll on our wellbeing.
Many of us feel our energy levels drop and motivation wane at this time of year, while around 2 million people experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a type of depression linked to reduced sunlight.
To protect our wellbeing as seasons change, it’s important to adjust our habits.
This webinar from the Bank Workers Charity explore how winter impacts the four pillars of wellbeing and offer practical tips for staying resilient through seasonal shifts.
What you'lI learn from this session:
- How does winter impact our mental, physical, and social wellbeing?
- The additional pressures on financial wellbeing during winter.
- What is seasonal living?
- What habits can we adapt to boost wellbeing during winter?
- Where to get support

The persistence of these health issues and others among men is aggravated by their reluctance to visit their GP, to seek help from a counsellor or to ask for support. This is a free webinar, open to all members.
