Getting access to the conference app

Download & login instructions

Follow these instructions to download and then login to the conference app:

  1. Download & install the Crowd Compass Events app from the Google Play store or iOS app store.
  2. Open the Crowd Compass Events app.
  3. Select Find your event and type the word Accord into the search bar.
  4. Select the Accord 2022 Hybrid Conference event. When prompted enter the password acc2022, then select Download event.
  5. You now have a choice to either Login or select the cross icon in the top left corner to browse the app anonymously. Should you choose to browse anonymously, you will NOT have access to all app features including voting, social posts or other attendee profiles.
  6. You will need to use the the email address you registered to conference with to access the app. Select Login and type in your first name, last name and email address. Then select Next.
  7. Finally enter the 6-digit verification code that would’ve been sent to your email address. Then select Verify.

Voting instructions

Voting will be conducting electronically via the conference app. Delegates should only vote once the debate has finished – any votes cast before this won’t count. Voting will open for each session once it has started.

You'll need to follow these steps to vote within the conference app:

  1. You must be logged in to the conference app to vote. If you're not logged in, follow the steps in the download & login section of this guide.
  2. On the app homepage, scroll down to Featured sessions.
  3. Click on the sessions you wish to view (e.g. Session 1) and scroll down to Live Polls. All motions being debated for that session will appear here.
  4. Click on the motion you’d like to vote on (e.g. Motion 1) – the voting options will appear for that particular motion.
  5. Select the option you’d like to vote, then select Finish. Your vote has now been cast.
  6. Select Exit Poll to return to the session page.

Only delegates with voting rights will be able to see the ‘Vote’ option under each session. Voting will only be allowed during dedicated voting time slots and will be locked outside of this time period.
