In order to carry out the duties required as an Accord rep, we need to train and accredit you. We do this through online training called eBites. As well as online training, we will offer from time to time classroom style training.Classroom training courses
Our rep induction programme gives you everything you need to get started in your new role as a workplace representative. We'll build on this through further training and the support of your local Accord Officer.
We'll help you understand the policies and procedures that apply in your workplace and give you everything you need to start representing our members in meetings with the business.
Everything you need to know to help keep our members safe in your workplace including what to do following accidents and all about the risk assessment and special Covid-19 risk assessment process.
The TUC offer a wide range of training and resources for union reps. This page lists some of the information we think Accord reps should know about.
Interested in becoming a rep? We’ve got an interactive eBite for you which will help you understand what our reps do, and you'll hear from them in their own words about why they love their role so much…
If you need support with any of your training, contact your local Accord Officer who will be able to assist you.
Accord has over 500 trained workplace representatives across the country who are there to help when things
aren't going so well. Reps are the beating heart of the union, and often the first port of call offering
advice, guidance, information, and representation.
No other union in either LBG or TSB can match this network of support.Find out more Rep election form
