Storm Éowyn: Support and Advice for Members
The severe weather conditions caused by Storm Éowyn are significantly impacting areas in Northern Ireland and Scotland today, 24 January 2025. For the safety of colleagues and customers, Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) has taken precautionary measures, including the closure of several sites and branches in the affected regions.
Closures and Arrangements
15 LBG sites in the Red alert area, including key locations in Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, and the Isle of Man, will remain closed until Saturday, 25 January, weather permitting.
89 branches, mainly in Northern Ireland and Scotland, have also been closed, with further updates to follow.
Colleagues working in affected areas have been advised to stay at home or work from home where possible.

Safety First: Avoid unnecessary travel in high winds and follow advice from emergency services. Ensure your home and surroundings are secure.
Work Expectations
If you are unable to work from home due to the closures, the Group has confirmed that you will not be expected to make up the time lost. This includes hybrid workers unable to meet their normal in-office requirements due to the disruption.
Any concerns or miscommunications about work arrangements should be raised immediately with your line manager.
