Join the TUC Black Network
Join the TUC Black Network, the first step in the national recording of Black workers who are in the Trade Union movement.
The TUC is proud to announce the launch of its Black Network. The first-ever national database to capture and record the richness and contributions of Black workers across the trade union movement and create a space for growth, empowerment and progress.
The TUC Black Network will be a powerful tool designed to connect, amplify, and support the work of Black activists, reps, organisers and trade union employees and officials.
This is the first time in history that such an effort has been made to preserve and promote the legacy of Black activists in the trade union movement. A crucial historical initiative that we believe will serve to commemorate, celebrate and preserve the legacy of Black activists who have made invaluable contributions to the trade union movement. Working to improve the lives of workers and build stronger, more inclusive unions serving as a source of education, inspiration and encouragement for current and future generations.
